Brand guidelines
The name
The correct spelling is EsitoLabs — one word, capital E and capital L. No space, no hyphen. Do not write "Esito Labs", "esitolabs", or "ESITOLABS".
"Esito" is the Italian word for outcome. The tagline is "Italian for outcome." — use this form exactly, with the period inside the quotation mark.
The mark
The EsitoLabs mark is a rounded square containing the letter E in DM Sans Bold on a dark background. Until the final logo is commissioned, use the E monogram lockup as it appears on the website.
Do not:
- Recreate the mark in a different typeface
- Change the colour of the mark
- Add a drop shadow, glow, or any other treatment
- Use the mark on backgrounds that reduce contrast below WCAG AA
Colour
The brand accent colour is #1A4B6E (navy blue). This is the only decorative colour in the palette. Teal (#0F6E56), amber (#BA7517), and red (#A32D2D) are semantic state colours — they indicate outcomes, progress, and errors only. They are not layout accents.
Typography
DM Sans is the primary typeface. Geist Mono is used exclusively in code panels, agent logs, and monospace UI elements. Both are available free on Google Fonts.
Voice
When writing about EsitoLabs:
- Declarative and specific. Not exclamatory or superlative.
- No exclamation marks. No emoji. No ALL CAPS.
- Sentence case everywhere — buttons, headings, navigation, pills.
- Avoid: "seamless", "supercharge", "cutting-edge", "instant", "zero-setup"
- Use: specific numbers, real timelines, honest process descriptions
Permissions
Press and media may use the EsitoLabs name and mark for editorial purposes with attribution. Commercial use, including sponsorships and partnerships, requires prior written approval.
