Fitment data agent · coming soon

Fitment that's always
current and clean.

An agent that builds, maintains, and distributes your ACES vehicle-fitment data — and answers "will it fit my car?" — across Amazon, eBay, and your own store. It replaces the desk half of a Catalog Data Specialist seat. Approved from Slack. Never autonomous.

What the agent does

The most valuable field on every listing.

Fitment decides whether a shopper finds the right part. Get it wrong and you get lost sales, returns, and listings Amazon suppresses. This agent keeps it right, everywhere you sell.

01 · Builds valid ACES

Every SKU, mapped to the right vehicles.

Drafts a valid ACES record for each part against the licensed Auto Care databases — year, make, model, sub-model, engine, drivetrain, body — with confidence flags on anything ambiguous.

02 · Keeps it current

New VCdb? New model year? Handled.

The maintenance no one has time for. Deterministic version diffs re-map expired references, new model years pattern-extend existing fitment, and validation passes catch errors before a channel does.

03 · Distributes everywhere

Each channel's exact format.

Amazon ACES, an eBay MVL crosswalk, your own site, distributor channels and data pools — transformed per destination.

04 · Fitment Answers

"Will it fit my 2022 Civic?"

The same compatibility brain answers pre- and post-sales fitment questions — in Slack, email, or your helpdesk.

05 · Human-approved

You hold the final call.

Conservative confidence thresholds keep ambiguous applications in human hands. Nothing publishes without an approval.

The role it replaces

The desk half of the catalog seat.

A Catalog Data Specialist is a niche, hard-to-hire role — ACES/PIES fluency is rare, and brands routinely run understaffed or outsource it to variable-quality shops. The seat runs $44k–$108k/yr. This agent does the fitment half of it for a fraction of that, and never goes out of date.

How it works

Six steps, end to end.

From trigger to distributed, validated fitment and a weekly health report — the workflow the agent runs, into one Slack review stream.

Step 01

Trigger

The agent runs on the events that actually create fitment work: a new SKU, a supplier data file, a new VCdb release from the Auto Care Association, a new model year, or a channel rejection or return signal.

Automated · event-driven
Step 02

Reason & draft

For each SKU it looks up candidate vehicle applications, maps them to current VCdb / PCdb / PAdb IDs, and drafts a valid ACES record — separating the confident applications from the ones it wants a human to check.

Automated · per SKU
Step 03

Review in Slack

"New SKU J+2400 — drafted fitment for 38 vehicles. Review the 3 I'm unsure about?" Your team approves, refines, or bulk-approves the confident records in plain language. The agent holds full context.

Human · your team
Step 04

Distribute

On approval it writes the validated record and transforms it per channel — Amazon (ACES / flat file), eBay Motors (via an ACES-to-MVL crosswalk), your own site, distributor channels, and data pools. Never without an approval behind it.

Human-approved · all channels
Step 05

Maintain

When a new VCdb version lands it diffs and re-maps expired references across the catalog. When a new model year ships it pattern-extends existing fitment. Validation passes catch overlaps and "fits everything" errors before a channel does.

Automated · ongoing
Step 06

Report

A weekly coverage and data-health report to the same channel: new vehicles still uncovered, expired references resolved, rejection rate, and where coverage gaps are costing sales.

Automated · weekly
